„Das Apartment war geräumig und die Aussicht ist wie auf den...

Das Apartment war geräumig und die Aussicht ist wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Auf der einen Seite schaut man aufs Meer und auf der anderen Seite hat man einen super Blick auf den Teide. Icod ist ein schöner Ort, aber die Straßen sind sehr steil und Estrella del Norte etwas außerhalb gelegen. Ein Auto ist hier ein Vorteil.

Enttäuschend waren die Betten. Im ersten Apartment war das Bett zu klein und die Füße wackelten. Im Zweiten war das Bett groß genug, aber die Matratzen waren durchgelegen, dass wir die als Lattenrost eingeschraubten Bretter spüren konnten. Wir erhielten nach 3 Tagen die Junjorsuite ohne Aufpreis. Hier roch es etwas muffig und es mangelte an Sauberkeit. Auf Grund der Jahreszeit war das Apartment kalt. Rezeption war nicht wirklich besetzt.

„Toll war, dass wir (18+26 Jahre) zu zweit ein größeres...

Toll war, dass wir (18+26 Jahre) zu zweit ein größeres Appartment (mit kleinem Balkon) bekommen haben als gebucht (zwei statt einem Schlafzimmer), sodass wir richtig schön Platz hatten. Unser Appartment im Haus "Las Palmeras" war schön mediteran eingerichtet, die Küche in einem extra Raum war gut ausgestattet. Handtücher wurden alle 3 Tage gewechselt, Müll täglich geleert. Die Lage ist super, wenn man ein Mietauto hat (notwendig, da hoch oben am Berg) und viel in der Natur unterwegs sein möchte. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, würden wiederkommen und das Appartment Leuten mit mittleren Ansprüchen empfehlen. (Beigefügte Bilder zeigen das Appartment am Tag der Abreise)

Bei Ankunft haben wir zuerst nicht gewusst, wo die Rezeption ist und mussten etwas warten, bis jemand mit uns den Check in gemacht hat (allerdings hat die freundliche Rezeptionistin die Wartezeit wieder wett gemacht). Wir hatten ein Appartment im Nebengebäude "Las Palmeras". Unser Aufenthalt war im Februar, d.h. in einer etwas kühleren Zeit, sodass das Appartment etwas zu kühl war (aber wir hatten ausreichend Decken, von daher war es ok!). Das W-Lan ist nur im Hauptgebäude kostenlos, in den anderen Gebäuden kostet es 1 Euro pro Tag und ist nicht immer ganz stabil. Leider sind die Wände etwas hellhörig.

„Das Zimmer in der 4.

Das Zimmer in der 4. Etage war sehr geräumig und die Aussicht ist wie auf den bereitgestellten Fotos wirklich ein echter Urlaubsgenuß. Die Küche im Haus war viel besser als in anderen "empfohlenen" Restaurants und zu einem sehr fairen (besseren) Preis und deshalb sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Belüftung im Bad funktionierte leider nicht. Da müsste mal was gemacht werden... .

Icod ist ein hübscher Ort, allerdings ist der Weg ins Zentrum aufgrund der steilen Wege kaum zu Fuß zu gehen. Das Apartment selbst erfüllt Mindestansprüche, aber nicht mehr. Enttäuschend.

Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind sehr laut, da direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße. Außerdem im Winter keine Sommer, so dass es ziemlich kühl ist. Das Apartment ist feucht und riecht muffig. Alles wirkt ziemlich angestaubt und bieder. Dem Personal war es nicht möglich - trotz Zusage - einen Heizlüfter bereitzustellen. Die Rezeption war selten besetzt.

View and house was exactly like on the pictures and the lady spoke good english and was nice

Hot tub kept being plugged out so it Never got very hot! And they didnt change our bedsheets and they didnt give enough towels with the second change (3 instead of 5)

Terrible experience

Anything I liked was ruined by the many things I didn't like.

I stayed in a one-bedroom with sea view apartment. The place is very far from the south and the drive is horribly dangerous through the mountains particularly at night. MAINLY, don't be fooled by the photos you see on the website. 1. place is not cleaned properly. Dust everywhere. I had to clean myself to be able to live there. 2. bedding sheets and pillow covers not changed for a period of 8 day stay. Towels changed every 4 days. 3. Heating units don't work as its central system. The rooms get very cold at night time. Asked staff and they said its not cold enough. 4. Hot-tub and terrace areas you see in the photos are not what they seem. All dirty and not functional. 5.No reception staff present. You have to chase for them around in the restaurant. 6. They are friendly and smiley staff but with no willingness to help when you have an issue. there is a silly reason to reject every request you make 7. No toiletries provided 8. Wifi only works by the apartment door not anywhere else. 9. see photos below of the dirty sheets and terrace areas. 10. Don't book their small double room as it is very small with no room for luggage even. In summary, you get a room to sleep but everything else is very basic and dirty. The facilities and features they list on booking.com is mostly not true.

I reserved breakfast and it was Delicious, with plenty of exotic fruits, home-made jams, I specillay liked the orange jam, and the fresh made fruit juice. Nothing compared to other industrial breakfast, where you only get packed things. Our room was very nice decorated and spotlessly clean.. Also the staff is very polite , so we Will return for sure¡¡

Overpriced, and only OK.

Views are fantastic. Continental breakfast adequate.

Wasn't worth the money. We didn't get the room we paid for. It was advertised as highest floor with a large terrace. Apartment was on 4th floor (there are 5 floors) with a balcony (good but restricted views). There was no coffee machine, toaster or cleaning products. Also, a car is really needed as it is such a steep climb from the town. I feel this should be mentioned in the description.

Great view from the window.

First of all administrator was trying to get some additional money for 1,5 years old child because he looks like older and didn’t try to check the actual age in passport. Also there was very cold in our apartment, it was around 16 degrees Celsius (not possible to say exactly because thermometer was broken in our room). When I ask administrator to solve this problem she propose me to pay additionally 5 euro/day for some portable heater... So it is a place where everybody will try to get more money from you for even any small and simple things.

Dirty room and rood staff

Bathroom and jacuzzi was dirty and it was bunch of hair hanging of the hair dryer.The cleaning lady said she had no time to clean.Fruit that was left on arrival was rotten .In the restaurant we send croquettes back because they were burnt and after the waiter was rood and ignored us the whole evening.would never go back and don't recommend

Relaxing in a quiet part of Tenerife, a quick drive from every where.

Great balcony/view in the deluxe apartment. Nice and straightforward. Arrive, get the keys, stock up the fridge and relax, you have a great base to explore the island from, and chill out in in the evening. You'll need to rent a car though.

We only booked a week, should have been 10 days.

overall very disappointing ........ poetic licence used on photos

good size of apartment usable kitchen wheelchair access OK

shower needed replacing with something more modern towels rough bedding etc seen better days all need replacing . nothing matched all very old wi fi not usable in your room had to go out to the passageway to use 830 in the morning above our room workmen were using a kango drill this woke us up with a start and made us leave the property early than we had intended bedding was not changed during our 10 day stay .. also had to request some cleaning materials as the place did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly

El lugar me gustó bastante.

Me gustaron muchísimo las vistas desde el apartamento y estaba muy cerca del centro de Icod.

La ventana de la habitación da hacia el pasillo y cada vez que alguien venía de noche se podía apreciar la claridad de la luz .

La única decepción de mis vacaciones en Tenerife

La cocina-salón amplio

1. Tazas y platos sucios. 2. Armario del extractor lleno de grasa 3. Sólo una toalla de baño por persona y ninguna de lavabo. 4. Faltaba el mando en la bañera para cambiar el agua del grifo a la ducha (la propietaria lo llamó embellecedor, sabía de su inexistencia y nos dijo que tiráramos del tornillo de rosca para arriba que funcionaba igual). También faltaba el tapón de la bañera y nos dijo sino servía el del lavabo. 5. La ropa de cama no digo que no estuviera limpia pero el color blanco nuclear hace años que lo perdió. Igual las toallas. No pedimos lujos pero sí un mínimo de condiciones. De todo lo dicho aporto fotos menos de la falta del mando en la bañera porque la borré accidentalmente.
